We are Haznos Valer, an artist collective based in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico. Through art, we seek to bring attention to the plight of thousands of suffering migrants at our shared border.

We adhere to a consistent life ethic, recognizing the dignity of every human life, at all stages. We work towards a "great affirmation" (in the words of Oscar Romero) which promotes the inherent worth of each person.

We are currently displaying a mural which portrays la Virgen María as the "Star of the River," guiding and protecting migrants in their dangerous journey. Our aspiration is that this mural will reveal a vision of authentic pro-life migration.

Through changing the hearts and minds of those around us, we hope to inspire policy changes and build a community of dignity for vulnerable migrants.
